Environmental activist, influencer and author Leah Thomas, also known as Green Girl Leah, has been announced as a speaker at the New York Times Climate Hub alongside Malala Yousafzai, Greta Thunberg and other influential figures.

The California based activist is the founder of online platform and community the Intersectional Environmentalist, and her debut book of the same name is due for release in 2022. Graduating with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy in 2017, Thomas has been campaigning for environmentalism, greater sustainability, and social justice ever since.
